Heidelberg University recognizes academic excellence by awarding academic scholarships. These are awarded after acceptance to Heidelberg using a holistic review of your application including academic performance in high school, college, student involvement, essay, recommendation letters, and test scores. The more you share about yourself on your application, the more we can advocate for your scholarship.
- Presidential Scholarship - $20,000 per year
- Dean's Scholarship - $17,500 per year
- Faculty Scholarship - $15,000 per year
- Academic Award - $12,500 per year
- Prince Promise Award - $10,000 per year (Students who receive this scholarship will be placed in the Student Prince Promise Program)
These scholarship amounts reflect those available for terms starting August 2026 or later. The scholarship amounts may change for future start terms.
This is a four-year renewable scholarship. Students must be from Ohio and majoring in a STEM field to apply. The application form will provide a list of the STEM majors that are available under this scholarship. We will be reviewing applications as they are submitted until August 1st or funds are depleted, whichever occurs first.
The Austin E. Knowlton Memorial Scholarship is a $5,000 renewable scholarship. First consideration given to Ohio student with an interest in mathematics or the natural sciences.
These gifts come from alumni and friends for the specific purpose of creating a named scholarship to provide financial assistance to students. Scholarships are awarded by the Financial Aid Office based upon specific selection criteria created by the donor.
