Local entrepreneur and marketing professional Suzie Reineke has been appointed to a four-year term on the Heidelberg University Board of Trustees. Her term begins in February 2023. “Suzie will be an outstanding addition to the Heidelberg University Board of Trustees! Her significant business experience, community commitment and leadership will complement the experiences and capabilities of our current trustees,” said Board Chair Kathleen Geier.
Suzie is looking forward to contributing to the core mission of the university in her new role. "I am honored to be appointed to the Board of Trustees at Heidelberg University,” she said. “I look forward to working with fellow Board members and faculty to continue building upon student successes well into the future."
A resident of Tiffin who is highly engaged in the community, Suzie is the Vice President of Human Resources and Marketing at Reineke Family Dealerships. She graduated from The Ohio State University in 2010 with a degree in fashion and retail studies and management. Following her graduation, she returned to the family business and began a career in sales. She later created the dealership’s Marketing Department. Suzie has proudly represented the family business as a participant at many of the PALS dinners through the years. She was a member of Heidelberg’s former Fellows Advisory Council in 2014.
President Rob Huntington said he’s thrilled to welcome Suzie to the board. “She is smart, hard-working, always enthusiastic, dedicated to her family and career, focused on educational and career opportunities for students, and very committed to improving the Tiffin community and Seneca County,” Rob said. “Since meeting Suzie over a decade ago, my admiration and respect for how she connects and collaborates so positively with associates and friends to make good things happen in our community have continued to grow. The Reineke Family Dealerships has long supported Heidelberg University in many important ways. I believe that Suzie will be a terrific addition to our Board.”
