AUSTINTOWN, Ohio -- After claiming two All-Ohio Championships this past weekend, Dan Stoll has added the Ohio Athletic Conference's Runner of the Week award to his collection.
Stoll won both the 200m and 400m dashes in school-record fashion while moving up in the national rankings in both events.
In the 200m, Stoll clocked a 22.10 second time, which eclipsed his own school record of 22.22 seconds set earlier this season. The mark was good enough to win the event by 0.17 seconds. Currently his time sits as the fourth best time in NCAA DIII indoor races this season.
Stoll's 400m run registered a time of 49.49 seconds, which currently marks the 10th best time in the country. Stoll edged James Roth at the line by 0.06 seconds to claim the All-Ohio crown. Furthering Stoll's acclaim, his time snapped his own school record by 0.12 seconds.
Stoll also ran the lead-off leg of the men's 4x200m Relay which finished fourth overall. The quartet of Stoll, James Ervin II, Marques Johnson and Noah Paris finished in a time of 1:33.93.
The weekly award is Stoll's third of the season and fourth of his career.
