When Heidelberg University upperclassmen returned for the new academic year on Saturday and Sunday, they had an exciting new option for their campus residential living.
Earlier this month, Heidelberg completed construction of the Main Street Town Homes, located at the intersection of Main and Hedges streets, on the south side of the campus.
The new complex features 15 contiguous 2-1/2 story, four-bedroom apartments built between Krieg and King residence halls and overlooking Rock Creek. Construction of the new town homes created residences for 60 students in two buildings, one with nine units and one with six units. Each unit has great amenities, including 2.5 baths, laundry, common living space and full kitchen.
Heidelberg was pleased to again work with architects BHDP of Columbus and Marker Construction, out of Bellefontaine and Columbus, as the construction manager.
