Dear Class of 2020,
Through some big challenges during these uncertain times, you have inspired us, revealed your resilience and demonstrated Berg Pride. And although we aren’t able to honor you with a traditional Commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 17, we do have some thoughts and messages we want to share with you online. We also will be sharing a video of the annual Academic Excellence recognition.
On Saturday, May 16th, and Sunday, May 17th, please visit Heidelberg’s website and check social media for the following Heidelberg greetings:
Chaplain Paul Sittason Stark will deliver a spiritual graduation blessing and prayer at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 16th. (View Chaplain Stark's blessing and prayer)
At 6 p.m. Saturday, May 16th, we will share a video of our annual Academic Excellence recognition. Join President Rob Huntington, Provost Beth Schwartz and Dr. Marc O’Reilly as we celebrate our Honors Program graduates, those who have been on the Dean's List All Semesters, and those inducted into the Heidelberg Honors Society. We sincerely hope that you find time in the coming days to celebrate your Heidelberg experience with great joy, pride and creativity. In the meantime, we look forward to celebrating with you in person at a time when we can safely do so with your family and friends, faculty and staff, and special guests. It will be a glorious day!
