Kelli Masters, an attorney and certified NFL sports agent, will be the guest of the fall Patricia Adams Lecture Series at Heidelberg University.
Heidelberg invites the community to attend dinner and Masters’ keynote address, “Finding Purpose: Overcoming Fear to Live Authentically,” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, in Seiberling Gymnasium.
Masters is the founder and president of KMM Sports, a full-service sports management company based in Oklahoma City. While managing KMM, she also continues to practice law with the Fellers Snider Law Firm and representing athletes in pro football, baseball and Olympic sports.
In 2010, Masters became the first woman to represent a first-round pick in the NFL Draft, and she continues to fight for opportunities for women in a male-dominated industry. Bleacher Report recognized her in 2014 as one of the 25 Most Influential Women in Sports worldwide.
Masters earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Oklahoma, and her Juris Doctor degree with honors from OU’s College of Law. She is a former national and world champion baton twirler, and was also Miss Oklahoma 1997, winning awards for talent and community service at the Miss America pageant that year. Currently, she also teaches sports law at Oklahoma Christian University.
The cost to attend the dinner and Masters’ keynote address ranges from $25-$35, depending on meal option selected. Reservations are needed by Thursday, Oct. 4, and can be made by visiting www.heidelberg.edu/patadams. A reception and cash bar will be held prior to the dinner, beginning at 5:45 p.m. in Seiberling Gymnasium
