Heidelberg University’s Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, in collaboration with the Latinx Unidos student organization and Tiffin City Schools’ International Cultural Center, will host “Pathways to Citizenship: Examining U.S. Immigration Policy” at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, in The University Commons on campus.
The interactive program will open with “The River,” a thought-provoking simulation activity presented by members of Latinx Unidos. That will be followed by “Immigration 101,” presented by Sister Andrea Inkrott, an accredited representative of the U.S. Department of Justice who works with immigrants seeking citizenship. The evening will conclude with a question-and-answer session.
The event is free and open to the community. Email multicultural [at] heidelberg.edu for additional information.
