The Integrated Behavioral Healthcare Colloquium will focus on practical implementation of utilizing interdisciplinary teams in treating and caring for those in under served and vulnerable populations. Area professionals will be sharing their knowledge and experience in this vital area. This years speakers include:
Elizabeth (Beth) A. West, DBH, LISW-S our Keynote Speaker will be presenting “Integration: The Total Package” as well as a breakout session titled, "Integrated Care: Why is this so hard?"
Dawn M. Thomas, Ph.D., OCPC will be presenting "We're All in this Together: The Role of Social Justice in Behavioral Health" as well as a breakout session titled "It's All About Relationships: Building Partnerships of Healthy Communities".
Meagan S. McBride, PhD, LPCC-S, CTP and Ronee Rice, LPC will be presenting in a breakout session titled "Children of Trauma & Restorative Relationships".
Patricia Berg, D.B.A. will be presenting in a breakout session titled, “Leveraging the Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership to Foster Successful Integrated Healthcare Teams”
This is a free event limited to 100 attendees with breakfast and lunch provided. Up to 4 CEU's will be provided pending approval. This event is sponsored by the K.I.T.E. Scholars Program which is a HRSA/BHWET grant given to the Master of Counseling program at Heidelberg University. Partnering Organization & CEU's provided by the NWOCA.
