Sportscaster for the NFL and NBA. Pamela Oliver is an American sportscaster known for her work on reporting from the sidelines of National Basketball Association (NBA) and National Football League (NFL) games. She earned a degree in broadcast journalism from Florida A&M where she also became an All-American in track and field.

Oliver has worked for various media outlets around the country, ESPN, and currently Fox Sports, where she is an NFL sideline reporter. She was named Outstanding Woman in Journalism by Ebony magazine in 2004.

Human Rights Advocate and Author of Unlikely Brothers. John Prendergast is a human rights activist and best-selling author who has worked for peace in Africa for nearly thirty years. Prendergast has worked for the Clinton White House, the State Department, two members of Congress, the National Intelligence Council, UNICEF, Human Rights Watch, the International Crisis Group, and the U.S.

HYPE Day: Captain James Lovell

James Lovell was born in Cleveland, Ohio on March 25, 1928. In his senior year in high school he was accepted in the Naval Aviation Holloway Plan and after two years at the University of Wisconsin, reported for flight training at Pensacola. During preflight training he received an appointment to the Naval Academy and reported in June 1948. CAPT Lovell reported again to Pensacola for flight training in September 1952, and was designated naval aviator T-4084 on 1 February 1954. His first assignment was Composite Squadron Three (VC-3) at Moffett Field California.
