About

Dr. Robin DuFresne (she/her) is excited to join the MAC program faculty at Heidelberg University. She is a 2016 graduate of the Counselor Education and Supervision program at the University of Toledo. Dr. DuFresne is an Ohio Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory Endorsement (LPCC-S) and she enjoys working with an adult population, particularly those who are diagnosed with Schizophrenia. Dr. DuFresne is passionate about assisting counseling students to grow and develop over the course of their academic program. Her favorite classes to teach are practicum and internship. Dr. DuFresne has presented at a variety of state, regional, and national conferences as well as published in counseling journals.

Dr. DuFresne came to the counseling profession after a career working residentially with individuals diagnosed with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. In her free time, Dr. DuFresne love to cook, listen to podcasts (ranging from true crime/actual innocence to etiquette), and spoil her cat, Mellie.
