Life happens. Plans change. But your degree? That’s still within reach. Heidelberg University’s General Studies major is designed for students who are close to completing their degree but need a flexible path to graduation.

General Studies Degree Requirements

To complete your degree, you’ll need:

  • 30 credit hours or more, including:
    • At least 6 credit hours at the 200 level
    • At least 15 credit hours at the 300/400 level
    • At least 6 additional credit hours of elective courses
    • One of the following capstone experience courses (3 credit hours):
      • An existing designated capstone course for at least 3 credit hours
      • NDI 369 - An on-campus practicum experience
      • Internship course (370) for at least 3 credit hours in any discipline

*Note: Students majoring in General Studies may not add any additional majors.
