The purpose of the Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) is to provide programs and services for all students of color including but not limited to African-American, Asian-American and Hispanic-American. To fulfill these goals the OMA strives to create an environment where all members of the Heidelberg community learn to appreciate diversity.
The Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) strives to create an inclusive campus environment through academic and social programming, while being the steadfast voice of the multicultural student. Through individual appointments, group advising, learning experiences and education services the OMA seeks to help create and sustain a campus environment where students respect themselves and an environment that encompasses mutual respect among the racial, cultural, religious, gender, ability and sexual differences.
