Integrated Arts in Early Childhood
Emphasis on materials and techniques to understand and support development of art, music, drama and movement abilities in young children ages 3-8. Integrating art, music, drama and movement education experiences throughout the curriculum in preschool and early elementary school settings will be the focus. Students will become familiar with the standard of the Consortium of Arts Education Association and appropriate Ohio Competency-Based Models to use in guiding instruction. Note: Due to the nature of this course, a one-hour lab has been built in to allow adequate time for studio experience. Co- or Prerequisite: GPA 2.5, EDU 200 or PSY 206.
