School of Education Technology Coordinator
Heidelberg University invites applications for a technology coordinator for the School of Education. We seek an individual who will coordinate educational technology services and promote the integration of educational technology into the education curriculum through workshops and training sessions.
The successful candidate will be a certified teacher with a Master's degree from an accredited institution. The individual need not be certified to teach computer programming (specifically), though the individual should have a strong background in educational technology both in the workplace and classroom.
Responsibilities include teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in technology literacy/applications, coordinating educational technology activities for the School of Education, and maintaining a system of candidate performance data necessary for accreditation purposes.
Preference will be given to candidates with a broad general education and dedication to lifelong learning; knowledge of curriculum, curriculum development, and school reform; and knowledge of teaching and learning theory as they relate to the roles of technology in content and pedagogy.
