Off-Campus Articles

Getting started when Off-Campus

You must have a current Heidelberg ID to access the Research Databases while not on campus. The system walks you through the log-in process--you'll need to choose Heidelberg from a pull-down menu, enter your name as it appears on your Heidelberg ID, and enter your barcode from your ID (hint: the last character is a capital letter).  Contact us if you need help.

*Contact your program director if you did not receive an ID card

Research Databases

Select Research Databases from the library homepage.

You can access databases three ways from this page:

Alphabetical List of Databases is best if you know the name of the database you want to use.

Subject List of Databases is best if you aren't sure what databases are available for your research subject area.

Type List of Databases is best if you need a special type of resource (company information, Ohio-specific information, primary resources, etc.)

If a Full-Text link is Not Provided you will need to request the article via our Interlibrary Loan article service. Please allow for 7-10 days for this service.
