Library Resource Room
The Library at the Arrowhead Park Campus is located in the Great Room. It contains a basic reference collection, an assortment of textbooks, as well as some items for use in specific classes. The library materials include such things as dictionaries, company directories, almanacs, and some study guides. It maintains subscriptions to newspapers, current news magazines, and business periodicals.
Heidelberg Campus Library Resources
Maumee students have access to the main campus library, Beeghly Library, and its resources either from the Arrowhead campus computers or from home or work. The library's web site provides access to a wide variety of information resources including numerous research databases, library catalogs and web resources.
Borrowing Library Materials
In order to borrow items from Beeghly Library, the other OPAL or OhioLINK libraries, and to access the online research databases from non-campus sites, students and faculty must have a current Heidelberg ID with a registered barcode. ID cards are issued at the fall orientation sessions at the main campus, or you can ask the Arrowhead Park staff to register you. For additional help with registration, contact the Circulation Department at the main Heidelberg Campus, 419-448-2104 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. With your registered Heidelberg ID card you can go to other OhioLINK college and university libraries and borrow materials from their collections.
Beeghly Library Catalog
You can now search for books, media, and journal articles in one seach using the red search box located on our homepage. The search uses our collection, our online journals, our databases, our media, the collections of other OPAL libraries, and the libraries who are part of OhioLINK. From your initial search you can limit your search to books at Heidelberg, ebooks, journal articles, etc. From this search you can request books through OhioLINK by clicking on the green "request" button.
You can request to pick up OhioLINK books at any OhioLINK library, so check the list to see if there is a university close to you.
