Bring a dish to share that reminds you of a book you have read – an appetizer, an entrée, a vegetable or salad, or a dessert. The only rule is that everything must be edible and safe. For inspiration take a look at these websites:
Friends of Beeghly Library (Galleries of past events at Heidelberg under the Activities section)
Books2eat albums from the International Edible Book Festival including 2011, and The International Edible Book Festival Gallery Tasty Samples. Google "Edible Books" to see many more examples.
If you don’t wish to bring a dish, make a donation to the Friends and join us for the meal.
Prizes for the most creative, humorous, and delicious books including new categories, such as parent & child creation, and just by children. Door prizes, too!
Admission: Free-will Donation.
Bring the book or a copy of the title page or dust cover.
