Austintown, Ohio – April 11, 2011 – Senior sprinter Alexis Goodman (Tiffin, Ohio / Columbian), a member of the Heidelberg University women’s track and field teams, was tabbed OAC Women’s Track Athlete of the Week for the week of April 11. This marks Goodman’s first conference reward of her career.
Goodman paced Heidelberg to a fifth place finish at the annual Marv Frye Invitational, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday.
For the second week in a row, Goodman led with two of the Berg’s four titles. Goodman crossed the finish line at 12.78 in the 100 meter dash, followed by clocking in at 25.84 in the 200, which was .09 and 1.03 seconds, respectively, faster than a week ago.
