Women’s Tennis to Face Baldwin-Wallace in OAC Match Tuesday

TIFFIN, Ohio—The Heidelberg University women’s tennis team will play Baldwin-Wallace College in an Ohio Athletic Conference match Tuesday in Berea, Ohio. The match is slated for 3:30 p.m.

Heidelberg (5-6, 3-1 OAC) is coming off an 8-1 win at Saturday at Marietta College.

Freshman Katie Strahan (West Chester/Lakota East) (7-4, 3-1 OAC) has led singles competition through 11 matches, while the tandem of senior Kayla Gerber (Clyde) and sophomore Deidre Potter (Chillicothe) (7-4, 3-1 OAC) has anchored doubles action.

Baldwin-Wallace (7-11, 2-2 OAC) has won three of its last five matches, but is coming off a 7-2 loss to Tiffin University. Danielle Rueger (10-11, 3-0 OAC) has led singles competition through 18 matches, while the doubles duo of Morgan Baker and Rebecca Mittler has led the team with a 5-13 overall and 0-3 OAC record.

Following Tuesday’s match, Heidelberg will host the University of Mount Union in an OAC match Saturday.
