Berea, Ohio – April 20, 2011 – The Heidelberg University women’s tennis team suffered an 8-1 road loss to Baldwin-Wallace College this afternoon at the Pop Collins Tennis Courts in Berea, Ohio. The setback drops the Berg to 2-12 overall and 1-4 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, while the Yellow Jackets improve to 12-7 and 5-1.
The duo of Jackquelyn Earl (Crestline, Ohio / Crestline) and Kam Haifleigh (Wolvenne Lake, Mich. / Bishop Foley) earned the lone ’Berg point on the day. Earl and Haifleigh teamed up for an 8-5 win at second doubles.
Heidelberg continues its trek through the OAC with a home match with Otterbein University tomorrow, April 21. The match is slated to begin at 3:30 p.m. on the Heidelberg Tennis Courts.
