Heather Denaro joins the Heidelberg coaching staff this fall as a goalkeeping coach. Denaro brings her experience of goalkeeping with 12 years of playing at the club, high school and collegiate level. She brings her coaching experience from high school and club. Denaro’s experience ranges from training goalkeepers at Fraser High School and for various club teams around the Michigan area.
During her senior year in high school, Denaro suffered an ACL tear, which limited her playing time at the collegiate level as a goalkeeper. However, she continued to participate in collegiate athletics and become a 2-year captain of the women’s lacrosse team at TU. Denaro was part of the Dean’s list five times during her career at TU.
Denaro joins the team with a positive attitude and looks forward in expanding her coaching career through Heidelberg University.
Heather graduated in May from Tiffin University with a degree in arts. She currently resides in Tiffin, Ohio and is working towards her masters degree in social work through the University of Toledo.
