Heidelberg Wrestling Faces Mount St. Joseph Thursday in Cincinnati

TIFFIN, Ohio—The Heidelberg University wrestling team returns to the mat Thursday, Dec. 15 when it faces The College of Mount St. Joseph in a non-conference dual meet at the Harrington Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. The match is slated for 7 p.m.

The Student Princes (2-4) are looking to rebound from a 27-10 loss to Division II foe Ashland University last week. Despite the loss to the Eagles, sophomores Chris Osborne (McComb) and Jason Russell (Columbus/West) and senior Jerry Knapp (Columbia Station/Olmsted Falls) each won bouts.

Mount St. Joseph (1-1) competed last Saturday at the North Central (Ill.) College Invitational where the Lions placed seventh.

Following Thursday’s dual meet, the Berg will enjoy a two-week break before traveling to Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. to compete in the Citrus Open on Dec. 29-30. The Student Princes open 2012 and Ohio Athletic Conference action on Jan. 10 against John Carroll University.
