TIFFIN, Ohio—With less than three weeks until the 2012 Ohio Athletic Conference Wrestling Championship, the Heidelberg University wrestling team looks to continue its momentum Tuesday, Feb. 7 as it faces OAC favorite the University of Mount Union in an OAC dual match in Alliance, Ohio. Action from the McPherson Academic and Athletic Complex is slated for 7:30 p.m.

The Berg (3-6, 1-1 OAC) is coming off a 30-9 victory—the first OAC win for rookie head coach Ned Shuck—last Tuesday at Muskingum University. Seven Student Princes recorded victories in New Concord, including a pin by sophomore 149-pounder Ian Gillespie (Cincinnati/Elder).
Mount Union (7-4, 2-1 OAC) won six matches, including four major decisions, last Tuesday at John Carroll University en route to a 22-12 win.
Following Tuesday’s dual match, Heidelberg will close its 2011-12 regular season with consecutive home duals against Baldwin-Wallace College (Feb. 14) and Ohio Northern University (Feb. 17) before hosting the OAC championship on Feb. 25.
