Lentz Has Third Best Score at Denison Classic

Granville, Ohio– September 5, 2010 - The Heidelberg University women’s golf team, under the guidance of second-year head coach Faith Egli, participated in the Denison Fall Classic over the weekend. It was hosted by Denison University.

Denison and Hiram College were the other schools who participated in the event.

Heidelberg took second behind Denison with a score of 287.

Leading the Berg was Heather Lentz who shot a 192 (91, 101). Lentz’s first round score of 91 was the best round shot by any player, while her 192 score tied for third best.

Following Lentz was Claire Meneer who shot a 204 (105, 99). Rounding out the top-three for the Berg was Kayla Percy with a 230 (116, 114).

Also competing for Heidelberg was Brittany Greenbaum (118, 116) and Ali Sayre (113, 121) who both shot a 234.

Heidelberg will tee it off again on Monday, September 20 at the Defiance Invite at Kettering Country Club.
