Chesterland, Ohio– April 25, 2010 - The Heidelberg University women’s golf team, under the guidance of first-year head coach Faith Egli, completed the 2009-10 season, while earning a fourth place finish at the 2010 Ohio Athletic Conference Women’s Golf Championship. It was held at the Fowler's Mill Golf Course.
Heidelberg shot a 789 (376, 383). Ahead of the Berg was Otterbein College 668 (337, 331), Ohio Northern University 685 (346, 339), and Mount Union College 743 (375, 368).
Sarah Baker (Clyde, Ohio / Clyde) led the way with a career-best score of 176 (87, 89). Tiffany Stark (Lancaster, Ohio / Lancaster) followed Barker with a 183 (93, 90) finish.
Rounding off Heidelberg’s participants was Jen Wargo (Middleburg Heights, Ohio / Midpark) who shot a 190 (94, 96), while Erika Danver (Jackson, Ohio / Jackson) shot a 210 (102, 108).
