TIFFIN, Ohio—The Heidelberg University women’s golf team will host the two-day Heidelberg Fall Invitational at Mohawk Golf and Country Club on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 24-25. The tournament will feature a shotgun start at noon.
The Berg will be hosting The College of Wooster, Hiram College, Notre Dame College and Ohio Wesleyan University, as well as Ohio Athletic Conference foes Baldwin-Wallace College, Capital University, John Carroll University and Ohio Northern University.
Last weekend, Heidelberg competed at the Wooster Invitational and Denison Invitational, where sophomore Heather Lentz (Sandusky/Perkins) led the group with a 99.5 stroke average.
Following this weekend’s tournament, the women golfers will enjoy a two week layoff before closing the fall portion of its 2011-12 schedule with The Clash at the Clouse hosted by Wittenberg University.
