LIMA, Ohio—Sophomore Heather Lentz (Sandusky/Perkins) carded a team-best 195 strokes to lead the Heidelberg University women’s golf team Friday and Saturday at the two-day Ohio Northern Invitational at Colonial Golfers’ Club in Lima, Ohio. Heidelberg competed in the tournament as individuals.
Lentz recorded rounds of 91 and 104 at the par-72 and 5,289-yard Colonial Hills Golf Club.
Freshmen Rachel Huth (Tiffin/Fostoria Hopewell-Loudon) and Kam McNeal (Middletown) tallied two-round totals of 222 and 281, respectively.
Heidelberg returns to the links Saturday and Sunday, April 28-29 for the OAC Championship at Foxfire Golf Club in Lockbourne, Ohio.
