TIFFIN, Ohio—Three individuals from the Heidelberg University women’s golf team will compete Friday and Saturday at the Ohio Northern Invitational at Colonial Golfers’ Club in Lima, Ohio.
Sophomore Heather Lentz (Sandusky/Perkins) and freshmen Rachel Huth (Tiffin/Fostoria Hopewell-Loudon) and Kam McNeal (Middletown) each competed at the Laura Bump Invitational in Ostrander where Lentz highlighted the action by carding 189 strokes over two rounds and finished in a tie for 57th place.
Lentz leads the team with a 98-00 stroke average over 10 rounds.
Following this weekend’s outing, Heidelberg will compete in the OAC Championship on Saturday and Sunday, April 28-29 at Foxfire Golf Club in Lockbourne, Ohio.
