One day after her birthday, senior Jacki Street (Grafton/Midview) had 12 kills and a .632 attacking percentage to lead Heidelberg University's volleyball team to a 3-1 (25-13, 17-25, 25-19, 25-14) non-conference victory at Bluffton University.
Street was one of four Student Princes (14-6) who recorded ten or more kills on the night. Marian Bevington (Celina/Parkway) and Jamie Kluding (Norwalk/Monroeville) tallied 11 and Amber Welfle (Norwalk/St. Paul) had ten kills.
Setter Rachel Ferguson (Brighton, MI) had a team-high 29 assists, and Alexa Frank (Tiffin/Calvert) recorded 15 sets against Bluffton (11-10).
Defensively, libero Tessa Benanzer (Fort Loramie) notched 14 digs, followed closely by Kluding, who had 12 digs. Bevington and Welfle each had four blocks.
"We did a better job of controlling the number of unforced errors tonight," said head coach Jason Miller.
As a team, Heidelberg attacked at a .392 clip and had six service errors.
Heidelberg will return to OAC play on Saturday morning at Capital University. The match will start at 11:30.
