Reinhart and Bevington Tabbed All-America

TIFFIN, Ohio—Senior two-time Ohio Athletic Conference player of the year Jackie Reinhart (New Riegel) and junior two-time All-OAC outside hitter Marian Bevington (Celina/Parkway) were named American Volleyball Coaches Association All-America honorable mention, announced today by the AVCA.

Reinhart, a four-time All-OAC pick, played in all 39 matches and 123 sets and was among the top three on the team in kills (271), digs (501), blocks (53) and service aces (40). This season she notched her 1,000th career kill and 2,000th career dig to become one of three players in school history to reach the 1,000 kill-1,000 dig plateau. Reinhart was also recently selected to the Capital One/College Sports Information Directors of America All-District VII second team.

Bevington, who earned first-team All-OAC honors in 2011, played in all 39 matches and 120 sets, leading the team in kills (336), hitting percentage (.312) and blocks (126).

In 2011, the duo led the Berg to a No. 5 national ranking, a 20-match winning streak, its third consecutive OAC regular season title and its fifth straight appearance in the NCAA Division III Volleyball Tournament, where it posted a first-round victory over Geneva (Pa.) College.
