Davis & Yoder Earn All-America Status at NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships

GRINNEL, Iowa—Junior Nate Davis (Dayton/Stivers) and seniorJoe Yoder (West Liberty/West Liberty-Salem) each earned All-America status today representing theHeidelberg University men’s indoor track & field team at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships at Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa. Heidelberg tallied 10 points to finish in a tie for 18th place among 60 teams.

Davis cleared 6-11.00 in the high jump to secure second place.

Standing in 10th place in the heptathlon after day one, Yoder climbed to seventh with a final tally of 4,768 points. Yoder won the 1,000-meter run portion of the heptathlon, clocking 2:42.31.

The outdoor season for both the men’s and women’s track & field teams begins Saturday, March 17 at the University of Cincinnati Early Bird Meet.
