Delaware, Ohio - February 20, 2010 - Junior Jordan Alvarez (Sherwood, Ohio / Fairvew) represented the Heidelberg University men's track and field team at the OWU Pentathlon over the Weekend. Ohio Wesleyan University hosted the event in Delaware, Ohio.
The competition consisted of five events and Alvarez accumulated 2,459 points to finish seventh overall.
In the 1,000-meter run he finished in four place, crossing the finish line in 3:02.51, while taking fifth in the high jump (5'6").
Alvarez took home sixth place in the 55-meter hurdles (9.14) before concluding his day with an eighth in the long jump (16'9.25") and in the shot put (25'4").
