HILTON HEAD, S.C.—The Heidelberg University men’s tennis team fell to Nazareth (N.Y.) College, 6-3, yesterday and Milsaps (Miss.) College, 9-0, on Tuesday, March 12 in non-conference matches in Hilton Head, S.C. Sophomores Dorion Kempf (Galion) and Matthew McDivitt (Cortland/Lakeview) accounted for all three of the Berg’s wins.
Kempf defeated Nazareth’s Tom Wood, 8-1 and McDivitt defeated Nick Lord, 9-8 (7-5) before the duo teamed to beat Matt Jennings and Zach Morley, 8-6.
The Student Princes return to the court tomorrow when they face Greenville (Ill.) College at 12:30 p.m. in Hilton Head.
