LEXINGTON, Ohio—The Heidelberg University men’s tennis team defeated Adrian (Mich.) College, 8-1, today in a non-conference match at Lakewood Racquet Club in Lexington, Ohio. The Student Princes swept singles play.
Seniors Bobby Lochotzki (Oak Harbor) and Cliff Goetz (Oak Harbor) and sophomores Zachary Schwenning (Barberton), Dorion Kempf (Galion) and Matthew McDivitt (Cortland/Lakeview) each won in straight sets. Senior Patrick Ryan Earl (Madison) won in three sets.
In doubles action, the tandems Schwenning/Earl and Kempf/McDivitt both won.
Heidelberg will rest for nearly three weeks before playing four matches in Hilton Head, S.C. between March 12-16.
