Westerville, Ohio – April 21, 2011 – The Heidelberg University men’s tennis team suffered an 8-1 road loss to Otterbein University this afternoon at the Richard A. Sanders Tennis Center. The setback drops the Berg to 7-9 overall and 3-4 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, while the Cardinals improve to 9-10 and 5-2.
Cliff Goetz (Oak Harbor, Ohio / Oak Harbor) earned the lone ’Berg point on the day. Goetz won 6-3, 6-4 in the second singles spot.
Heidelberg continues its trek through the OAC with an away match at John Carroll University Wednesday, April 27.
