Alliance, Ohio – March 27, 2010 – The Heidelberg University men’s tennis team fell behind 3-0 after doubles action and could not regroup which resulted in a 9-0 setback to host Mount Union College.
Following the outing, Heidelberg stands at 2-7 overall and 0-1 in the Ohio Athletic Conference. Mount Union improves to 7-1 and 1-0.
After the Purple Raiders opened with sweeping doubles play, it posted straight-set wins in singles play for the shutout victory.
Heidelberg will look to return to the win column April 2 when it entertains Muskingum University at 1:00 p.m.
