Jackson Blue (West Chester / Lakota West) led Heidelberg with 14 points. Dane Givner (Pittsburgh, PA/Harvest Prep) recorded a career-high 14 rebounds en route to his second consecutive double-double.
Baldwin Wallace, which led wire-to-wire, has won five out of their last six games.
Heidelberg (10-14, 5-12 OAC) got behind early, as the Yellow Jackets opened on a 12-4 run.
The Baldwin Wallace (18-6, 13-4 OAC) lead evaporated down to 3 after a jumper by Josh Pollner (Powell/Olentangy Liberty) made it 19-16.
The Yellow Jackets answered with an 18-4 run over the 6:22 to go up 17.
The Student Princes hacked at the lead, closing to within eight with 0:39 left in the half.
In the second half, BW pushed their lead back to double-digits, but again, Heidelberg answered.
Givner hit two free throws with 6:14 remaining, which made the score 64-60. He finished with 13 points.
BW closed the game on a 17-7 run.
Heidelberg will close out the regular season at home on Saturday. Prior to the game, the team will recognize seniors Givner, Nate Davis (Dayton/Stivers) and Quintin Aden Jr. (Canal Winchester/Harvest Prep) for their contributions to the program. Tipoff is at 3 p.m.
Following Saturday's game against Otterbein, Heidelberg will play Monday in the first round of the OAC Tournament. Heidelberg will claim the tournament's seventh seed with a win on Saturday and eighth seed with a loss.
