Bryan Wickliffe was a four-year starter for the College of Wooster. Wickliffe is the 16th leading scorer and 10th leading rebounder in the program’s history. During the 2010-11 season, he helped lead the Fighting Scots to a runner-up finish in the NCAA Division III national tournament. Wooster won four NCAC titles and advanced to the tournament each season during Wickliffe’s stint.
“I hired Bryan because of his experience and he is a winner, while Joe brings a great work ethic and a high basketball IQ to our staff," said head coach Andy Bucheit.
Since his graduation in 2011, Wickliffe has remained at Wooster, working as an assistant coach.
“Bryan brings a winning attitude to our program that is an essential building block in bringing our program into the national spotlight,” said Bucheit. “He has been a part of teams as a player and coach who have played in six NCAA tournaments.
In his first year at Heidelberg, Wickliffe is pursuing his master's degree.
