Tom is a Heidelberg University alumnus, graduating in 2006 with a bachelor's in Communication Studies and Theatre Arts, and again in 2015 with a Master's of the Arts in Education. He was a first generation college student who was also undecided academically. While changing his major 4 times during his 4 years on campus, Tom was also involved with Excelsior Men's Society, WHEI campus radio and a variety of other activities and organizations. People are the reason Tom chose Heidelberg, and he hopes to have the same impact on you.

Sam is a recent graduate (2015) from Ursuline College where she studied Fashion Merchandising with a minor in Design. She was born and raised in Adrian, Michigan where she completed her first year of college before transferring to Ursuline. During her time there she began working as a tour guide and found her passion for assisting students and their families with college selection process. She is very excited to continue assisting prospective students and their families find their perfect fit at Heidelberg University! When she is out of the office Sam enjoys traveling, reading and trying out new restaurants.

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Adam is a first generation college student. He attended Heidelberg University in the Fall of 2008 where he majored in English Literature. Because of his involvement in varsity football, Greek life, and several other organizations on Heidelberg's campus, he believes that his college experience was well-rounded. Helping others to acknowledge their self-worth is Adam's aspiration in life; therefore "Help him, help you!"

Melissa Nye Melissa Nye
Graduate and International Admission Coordinator

From New Riegel, Ohio, Melissa attended Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio, obtaining a Bachelors of Arts degree in Management of Dance and Art. She then finished her Master’s degree in Education at Heidelberg in 2014. In addition to providing exceptional service to International and Graduate applicants, she advises Heidelberg’s Dance Team, is involved with In Motion Dance Studio, and freelances art and interior decorating. She is a member of the Tiffin Art Guild (TAG) and has taught art classes for TAG, the Findlay Art League, and the Tiffin Mercy Cancer Center. Recruitment Territory: Transfer, Adult, Dual Admission, PSEO, Readmit and Transient students as well as all incoming January students 

Sue has been at Heidelberg for 30 years and has a BS in Business Administration and Psychology and an MA degree. She works with transfer, adult, dual enrollment, readmit, PSEO, and transient students. Sue is also responsible for articulation agreements with community colleges. She enjoys working with students to make the transfer and admission process as easy as possible. Her favorite thing about Heidelberg is the people - "It's like family here."

Kelsey is a 2015 graduate of Heidelberg University who earned her BS in Psychology and Spanish. She is a first generation college student from Upper Sandusky, Ohio. Kelsey maximized her experience at Heidelberg University by becoming involved in various mentoring programs, organizational groups on campus, and study abroad. She understands the importance of finding that “at home” feeling at a university in order to make the experience the best possible.
