Travel embedded in coursework adds a dimension of learning that the classroom alone cannot provide. Faculty-led student learning experiences embody the “family atmosphere” and faculty-student mentoring so frequently identified with Heidelberg University. These trips provide an environment for students to experience growth.
Last year 235 students traveled with faculty and/or staff members on 14 short trips, to destinations from the Mississippi Delta and the American Southwest to Ireland, Greece and Turkey. This year’s trips are just as exciting and offer amazing opportunities. Get out there and make some memories.
