Any student on campus is invited to join the Heidelberg German club. The group's activities involve the culture of Germany, not necessarily the language. The club has taken trips to the Chicago Christmas Market, the German village in Columbus, the Cincinnati Oktober Fest, brings speakers to campus, hosts movie nights, and introduces students to different German foods.
Delta Phi Alpha German Honor Society
The Heidelberg Epsilon Psi chapter of Delta Phi Alpha, a national German honor society, was recognized in 1965. Membership invitations may go to students who are at least sophomores, are registered in a German 300 or 400-level course, hold a B+ average in German and are recommended by the Department of Languages faculty.
Our Tutoring program is offered four days a week. You will meet with an exchange student from Germany, or a returning student and work on course work, do homework, study for tests or simply have a conversation.
