James has more than twenty-five years of experience as a teacher, researcher, management consultant and business executive. He specializes in management and organization design helping organizations envision, plan, and lead transformational change. His technical areas of expertise are organization management and design, information technology, and financial planning and control. He has led project teams for some of the most innovative and networked health care, life science, technology, financial services, accounting, manufacturing, and governmental organizations in the world. He has also worked with not-for-profit and faith-based organizations. He is an Assistant Professor at Adrian College, a research associate in Organization Behavior, Innovation, and Design at Case Western Reserve University, and an Adjunct Professor at Heidelberg University. He is working to develop frameworks and tools with which to help organizations change intentionally and identify and deal with ethical issues that arise in everyday business.
